CONSERVATORSHIP COURT INFORMATION

Conservatorship Court Filing Information
Once you have determined that you need to file a conservatorship case in
the Los Angeles Conservatorship Court, you will need the following
information to be able to file your case in court in Los Angles, CA
A. Information about
relatives of the person you wish to conserve, such as mailing addresses
and names of the relatives to the second degree. You will need
these because you will need to give notice to them.
B. A list of the assets of the proposed conservatee, if you
wish to get control of the assets of the disabled person or to protect
them.
C. Information about the income of the proposed
conservatee. You will need to disclose this to the Court when
filing for a conservatorship of the estate.
D. A Capacity Declaration from a physician with sufficient experience in determining capacity of an adult.
E. A Filing Fee of $465, or a fee waiver order.
Court Investigator's Fee of $650 ( 2016). Be prepared to be
bonded, if you are asking to be appointed as conservator of the estate,
or for a blocked account.
